General Information

Southwest Endodontics has a dedicated staff in Dr. Nishan Odabashian, Venus Naya-Romeu, Allegra Day, Virginia Mendez and Shelley Paddock.  Our entire team is committed to providing excellent endodontic treatment and service with a smile.

After practicing general preventive and restorative dentistry for eight years, Dr. Odabashian found his calling in Endodontics.  He received his certificate of specialty, and a Master's Degree in Endodontics from one of the top Endodontic Residency programs in the country--Loma Linda University.  Dr. Odabashian has done extensive research at UCLA, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, as well as Loma Linda University.  He holds the position of Lecturer within the Department of Endodontics at Loma Linda School of Dentistry and is a Visiting Professor at the Armenian State Medical University in Yerevan, Armenia, Department of Therapeutics.  He served as the president of the Armenian Dental Society of California from 2003-2006, and has also served on the Board of Trustees of the Armenian Dental Association (in Armenia).  Currently, he is the president of the Armenian American Endodontic Association, of which he is a founding member.  Dr. Odabashian is also a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association, Southern Nevada Dental Society, and the Southern California Association of Oral Pathologists.  He has lectured on endodontics at both local and international conferences.

Venus Naya-Romeu lends her pleasant and friendly aloha spirit to your visit, assisting the doctor during consultations as well as treatments.  She has had eight years of dental experience, four of which have been specific to endodontics.  

Allegra Day has been in the dental field for four years, and now assists our practice at the front desk.  She is honored to return to work with the excellent staff of Southwest Endodontics after a one year leave of absence.

Shelley Paddock has been a dental assistant for several years and helps out on a part-time basis with the operations of our practice.

Virginia Mendez is the newest member of our team, and brings with her a wealth of experience, specifically in the insurance billing arena.  She has twenty years of experience in the dental field.
